v0 pricing explained: credits, tokens and models
v0 gives paid users $30 of monthly credits plus $2 a day, and charges per token by model. Here is how far that goes and how to spend less.
Plans
Free includes 7 messages a day. The paid team tier is listed at $30 per user per month with $30 of monthly credits and $2 of free daily credits on login. Business is $100 per user with the same credits plus training opt-out by default.
Token rates by model
v0 Mini: $0.20 input / $1.20 output per 1M tokens. v0 Pro: $2 / $10. v0 Max: $5 / $25. v0 Max Fast: $10 / $50. Cache reads are much cheaper than fresh input.
Why messages cost more than you expect
v0 counts what you send, including project context, not just your typed prompt. Long chats and big projects mean more input tokens per message. Starting a fresh chat for a new feature and choosing Mini for small edits keeps costs down.
